学部下有课程轨道，轨道下有阶段，每个年级各有一个课程模板——即一个年级组据以组建的科目。选一个学部，模板便按该课程自己的科目重新呈现。

中学（剑桥）显示为 Year 7 至 Year 11，经由 Lower Secondary 与 IGCSE。切换到国民课程，同一个矩阵便显示 Bahasa Melayu、Matematik、Sains 与 Sejarah，Tingkatan 1 至 5。没有任何名称被改成统一格式：年级主任在屏幕上看到的，就是自己熟悉的年级。
模板规定每个年级学什么、哪些科目必修。年级组由此建立，因此一个家庭是加入一个年级，而不是被手动加进十几个班——下方的课表也正是由这些班级排出来的。

设定规则——一位老师一天、一周、连续最多可以上多少节——然后生成。排课引擎当着你的面，按你的铃声时间表逐节安排课程，最后给出一份带有种子和评分的方案。规则收得太紧，它会拒绝，并指明该修正哪一步。
Each is a hard guarantee — the generator refuses any timetable that would break one. Leave a field blank for no limit. Lessons a teacher already holds in other confirmed timetables (e.g. the other bell schedule) count toward every cap.
A teacher never teaches more than N periods on any one day. A double counts as 2.
Weekly workload ceiling — e.g. 30 keeps every teacher at or under 30 teaching periods a week, support duties included.

规则就是保证。当搜索无法证明存在一份可行的周课表时，它会明说，并指出修正的步骤——这里是 Curriculum & Resources 下的 Teacher availability——而不是生成一份违反规则的课表。上面的拒绝是真实的一次，逐字重放。
每次运行都会记录种子和软评分，两份草案可以比较，而不用争论。上面这次运行安排了 48 节课，评分在七份草案中从 130 改善到 120。
已确认的一周就在课表板上：年级组纵向排列，P1 到 P13 横向排列，顶部是健康状态标签。点一节课，空闲的格子会亮起——老师已有课的格子会在你放下之前告诉你。Apply changes 随后从你选定的日期起，准确列出一次移动所触及的一切。

Apply changes 列出会变动和不变动的班级、每个班级背后带日期的课节，以及受影响的首末日期。生效日期之前的课节从不改动，已记录考勤的课节从不删除。
别处已有一份周课表？从 aSc Timetables 或电子表格导入，接着往下做即可。总览、按老师、按年级组的视图都可以从浏览器打印。
老师在手机上的网格里打分：输入分数，按 Enter，光标跳到下一位尚未评分的学生。评估框架的权重算出百分比和学校的等级，评语代码来自评语库，Finalize 将其锁定。成绩单在学校设定的日期发布给家长。

Coursework 40、Test 60：加权只算一次，班上每位学生算法相同。评语代码来自学校自己的评语库，因此无论哪位老师填写，成绩单读起来都一致。

设备一认出人便记录，并把学生签到到时间窗内的那节课——准时或迟到。认错了人，轻点一下即可撤销，什么也不会记录。
